“La Casita” (the little house) is an intimate and casual Mexican restaurant in Chorlton. Our goal is to welcome you into our home with the great Mexican spirit and inspire you with the real tastes, aromas and textures of Mexican street food. Our journey started with a little food stall at the markets where we became known for our authentic recipes. After a couple of years, because of the big demand and the continuous support from our customers, We decided to open our first restaurant and in a short time established ourselves as a small corner of Mexico in the local community. We are so proud of the feedback from customers and thankful for the number of regulars who return time after time to enjoy their favourite dishes. We want everyone to feel welcome at La Casita. As We say in Mexico “Mi casa es tu casa” (my house is your house) meaning you are always welcome here
Take a seat and taste the true Mexican flavour
Our Authentic Mexican food is vibrant, delicious and very tasty. La Casita of Chorlton only use an amazing array of chillies, both fresh and dried. Most Mexican ingredients are readily available everywhere, such as tomatoes, limes, coriander, red onion, avocado, and corn, and specialty ingredients are becoming more readily available throughout the UK.
Founder of La Casita, Guillermo, was born in Veracruz, Mexico. Veracruz is a wonderful part of the world where flavoursome food amazes your taste buds. Veracruz is the state in Mexico where you will find the most wonderful fruits growing abundantly, coffee beans being harvested all year round, vanilla pods hanging from the trees inland and in the Port of Veracruz, the famous seafood dishes fresh from the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
